well of course as working with the brilliant communications team at North

East London NHS Foundation Trust.

Award winning, don't you know?

Yet still, confidence, self belief, a struggle with boundary setting,

and challenges in demonstrating the strategic value communicators add to

Speaker: 00:00:57

an organisation are still cropping up time and time again as themes that

Speaker: 00:01:01

people are really grappling with.

Speaker: 00:01:04

Working in communications isn't easy and being a Director of

Speaker: 00:01:07

Communications can feel tough at times.

Speaker: 00:01:10

Stepping up as a leader in your organisation, managing the vast array

of priorities that come your way and positioning yourself and your team,

all while looking after your mental health and wellbeing can feel daunting.

But speaking from experience, it can also be really rewarding.

As well as helping to set the tone and culture for your organisation,

celebrating the good stuff, dealing with the tricky stuff, and

supporting the strategic direction and delivery of your organisation,
